On October 30, Pendry Residences West Hollywood set the stage for a truly luminous evening as Then I Met You celebrated its momentous launch at Sephora. Hosted within the breathtaking Terrace Estate 803, this exclusive event brought together over 150 of Los Angeles’ most influential creators and beauty aficionados for a night of connection, indulgence, and inspiration.
Then I Met You, a skincare brand rooted in Korean innovation and time-honored rituals, is the vision of founder Charlotte Cho. Drawing inspiration from the Korean concept of jeong—a profound connection to people, places, and things—Charlotte has crafted a brand that deepens bonds between individuals and their skincare rituals. The Sephora launch marks a significant milestone for Then I Met You, blending its heritage-rich ethos with the contemporary beauty world.
The expansive 5,015-square-foot, two-story Residence, designed by EYRC Architects with interiors by Martin Brudnizki, served as a sophisticated backdrop for the evening. Guests flowed between the light-filled interiors and two private terraces, taking in panoramic views from the Hollywood Hills to Downtown LA.

Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed personalized experiences including mystic fortune readings and custom lip balm charm creation. The gathering celebrated beauty and connection amid the Residence’s luxurious details—from the striking Calacatta Borghini marble to the warm rift-sawn white oak floors and refined brass accents—creating an atmosphere that mirrored Then I Met You‘s philosophy of intentional beauty.
